At Crossways Residential Care Home we work hard to ensure that we create a homely atmosphere for all our residents.
Excellence in elderly care
The rights of all our residents are of high priority to us. We aim to ensure at all times that residents retain their privacy, dignity and independence and that we give them the opportunity to exercise their right of choice in all aspects of daily living within their capabilities. For those who need extra support following an operation or illness, or while their regular carer takes a well-earned break we offer respite services.
In addition to our residents who require elderly care, we can also accommodate people with specific needs. This usually will involve undertaking diagnostic and screening procedures, the treatment of disease, disorder or injury.
Hobbies and outside activities are organised by the home and residents can partake in as much as they like or just relax in the garden or the quiet lounge.
The garden has a lovely pond and a BBQ area.
A special “Pets as Therapy” dog visits on a regular basis for those who just love dogs
Occupational therapy is offered daily and other day to day needs taken care of, e.g. hairdressing, chiropody and physiotherapy.
Residents may consult their own GP or register with a local GP if preferred.
All residents have a personalised and holistic care plan in place with reflects their needs as an individual. Familes are encouraged to contribute and appraise at regular intervals.
